LiftMaster model 972LM is a standard one button visor garage door opener remote control for the security+ versions of garage door openers on the 390MHz frequency. This LiftMaster 972LM remote works with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman and other private labeled Security+ 390MHz brands of garage door openers by Chamberlain that have the Red or Orange learn button on the back of the garage door opener manufactured between 1997 and 2005.
The LiftMaster 972LM 1-button visor remote is directly compatible with the following models to control one security+ devices on 390Mhz:
LiftMaster: 91LM, 92LM, 94LM, 96LM, 971LM, 972LM, 973LM, 973W, 974LM.
Chamberlain: 950CB, 953CB, 956CB.
Sears Craftsman: 139.53680, 139.53681 new part numbers 00953680000 or 00953681000.
Note: Will not work on openers or remotes operating on 315Mhz or openers that have a PURPLE learn button. Use the 371LM that operates on 315Mhz available from our ecrater store.
